In addition, we reserve the right to refuse admission to or continuation of a class where we consider it appropriate to do so, whether for medical or any other reason. Where admission is refused, no refund will be available.
Please fill in your registration form correctly and accurately to the best of your knowledge. It is then important that if there are any changes in your health, or your ability to exercise, that you notify your teacher verbally before the start of any session. If during a class, or at the end of the class, you experience any pain, breathlessness or any other discomfort you must stop immediately and notify the instructor. Please note that Pilates is not a medical treatment and any information you hear in class does not constitute medical advice. It is your responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice to ensure that you are fit and healthy to partake in any form of exercise and that it is suitable for your needs. Before commencing any exercise regime, you should consult your doctor.
You understand the various risks associated with an exercise programme and it is your desire to participate. The teacher can accept no liability for death or personal injury related to participation in a class if:
(a) Your doctor has, on health grounds, advised you against such exercise.
(b) You fail to observe instructions on safety or technique.
(c) Such injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class.
We may, from time to time, provide you with exercises that you may decide to undertake outside of our classes. These will be relevant/suitable for you, and only these exercises should be considered. They will only ever be exercises you have be shown and practiced in class, but you should only carry out exercises you are comfortable with. You must ensure that you take all necessary steps to protect yourself against risk of injury, including ensuring that you are suitably warmed up prior to undertaking any exercises and that you stop immediately if you experience any pain, breathlessness or any other discomfort. You should only undertake the exercises in a suitable environment. As above we will not be held liable for any death or personal injury sustained from undertaking these exercises, except when caused by our negligence.
Any damage to our premises caused by the client is the responsibility of the client.
Although the teacher, in nearly all circumstances, will be in the room throughout the class, we are not responsible for any loss or damage to any of your personal items that occur within our classes.
We shall not be liable to you as a result of any delay or failure to deliver our classes as a result of an event beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
